Good Vibrations19-09-2017 | 16:03:14 | No Comments

Today in Year Four, we were treated by some of the staff from Moorside High School to a Science lesson!

We learnt all about how sound is really vibrations which travel to reach our inner ears. We first experimented with lots of different instruments to try and discover what exactly was vibrating. We then completed an investigation into sound using a coat hanger and two pieces of string! Finally, we got to experiment with with tuning forks and discovered that vibrations travel through water too.

We can’t wait for our next lesson from the staff at Moorside High School in two weeks time! Thank you for teaching us today.
