Messy Mountains30-01-2019 | 16:18:51 | No Comments

This afternoon Year 4 have been creating topographic maps of Italy.

We have been studying Mount Vesuvius and its effects on the landscape and people around it.

After learning about the eruption of Vesuvius in 79AD and 1944 we looked at what might happen if it were to erupt again and who it would affect.

To make our topographic maps we made salt dough from flour, salt and water. Then used it to build u where the mountainous areas of Italy were and put in Mount Vesuvius.
